Four stories from Edgar Allan Poe are told in the form of a staged radio drama. The prisoners of Leverett Street Jail, Death Warrant Division, await their fates as three of the doomed souls tell their stories, and we enter the mind of a fourth. The Caretaker insists that, although she has murdered the old man she was caring for, chopped him up and buried him under the floor, she is not mad. In fact, she says, she loved the old man. We segue into the night the deed was done and witness the murder and the concealment of the old man's body. It is his unnerving, staring eye she seeks to murder, but it is his Tell Tale Heart that eventually leads to the discovery of her crime. Montresor tells of luring Fortunato away from carnival and into the wine cellar with the promise of sampling from a Cask of Amontillado. He proffers the notion that by walling Fortunato up to die, he has done a service to humanity, thereby amputating "a diseased portion from the body human." In the third tale, we enter the mind of the catatonic Poet, who has witnessed the death of his lover or has, perhaps, been responsible for it. After the memorial service, the Poet is visited by guilt … and The Raven. Finally, Bedloe, who has buried an axe in his wife's skull and hidden her in the cellar, is brought to justice by The Black Cat.

It's an annual collaboration between musicians and artists from all around Ohio to raise money for suicide prevention in LGBTQ+ youth with an exciting online art auction on the Songs for Stella Facebook page, a live event with a variety of entertainers and an event raffle with a $100 grand prize. This year's event is featuring the legendary singer/songwriter: Donna Mogavero from Columbus, Electronic cello and stirring operatic vocals from one of the founders of Songs for Stella: Kate Wakefield from Cincinnati. The incredible duo of musicians Lydia Brownfield and Jeff Dalrymple of Columbus, thrilling bellydance by locals: Sarah Joy and Lauren Thorkatla, Marysville's very own songstress: Gigi Bix will be performing as well as the harmony slinging duo of Vanessa Prentice and Leslie Kuebler known as Snapdragonfly. Bear, Princess Ann, Glow Toy, and others have come to Toy Camp to hopefully graduate and earn their price tags to be sold at toy stores. Not graduating from Toy Camp means certain doom at the Toy Dump! During their week at camp, our friends learn lessons in paying attention and practicing, overcoming both their fears and their weaknesses. With a subtle moral about liking yourself and having confidence if you want to be loved by others, each toy realizes that it is good at something.

Central Ohio Symphony - Holiday in Brass

Cirque du Canines began in 2019 with the collaboration of former Ringling touring performer, Gail Mirabella, and longtime trick dog performer, Michelle Harrell. Sharing a vision for what a "Dog Circus" should look and feel like, Gail and Michelle combined their talents, their dogs and their ideas to create an exciting performance for the stage. Both believed that love, care, and positive reinforcement training were of the utmost importance. Their dogs are their family, their lives and the stars of the show.
