Cost is $50 per camper
Students will participate in theater games, prop creation, a daily lesson focusing on one aspect of theater and much, much more! There is a limited number of openings available so be sure to sign up right away!
Each day of camp will have a theme related to theater and the performing arts.

Sarah is the Executive Director for the Avalon. She has a Master's degree in visual arts education and taught in the classroom for 12 years. Sarah looks forward to watching memories being made through arts experiences on the Avalon stage.
Theresa is in her 13th year at Fairbanks Local Schools as a choral director and theatre director for the high school and the elementary general music teacher. Theresa has performed with the Singsations in "White Christmas" and she looks forward to performing again with her community and seeing her students on stage again in the future!
Liz has been teaching for over 7 years and is a middle school instructor in Marysville. She is a long-time lover of all things theatrical having both directed and been part of many musicals, plays, choirs, and improv groups. Musical theater and comedy are her favorite areas of performing arts and she looks forward to laughing and learning this summer!
Laural is a former junior high choir teacher and assistant musical director. After teaching, she played piano for various school districts and a community college and was also a member of the 2004 Playmill Playhouse cast in West Yellowstone, Montana. Recently, she has been on the stage with the Union County Signsations and the Silver Scene Players. Laural has lived in Marysville for thirteen years with her husband and six children.
Kathy has been a 4th grade teacher at North Union Elementary School for over 20+ years. She also helps direct the annual 5th grade musical. Kathy is on the Producers Board of Silver Scene Players, the local community theater, and has appeared in several community productions throughout the years.
Susan has been a music teacher for Worthington Schools for over 22 years with a Master’s in Music Education and a Bachelor’s in Vocal Performance. She is active in performing in professional & semi-professional productions in Columbus and central Ohio. When she’s not performing, she’s conducting & music directing for the Singsations, Union County’s community choir. Susan is excited for camp to begin and see our youth shine in Union County!
Joy will be graduating this spring with a B.A. in Theatre for sound design and stage management from Wittenberg University. She has been involved in theatre for as long as she can remember - from acting in school plays to starting a theatre company in high school. She has designed lights, sound, built sets, directed, stage managed, and written and produced original musicals.
