This February, The Avalon Theatre invites audiences to fall in love all over again with a month full of romantic and unforgettable Valentine’s events. From candlelit classical music and swoon-worthy cinema to electrifying live performance and a heartfelt wartime love story, The Avalon has curated the perfect lineup for date nights, friends’ outings, and self-love celebrations alike.

A Candlelit Valentine’s Date Night
The celebrations begins with an evening of elegance and romance as Sounds of The Avalon Presents… Central Ohio Symphony Candlelight String Quartet on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Set in the warm glow of candlelight, this accomplished quartet from the Central Ohio Symphony will perform an evening of romantic music curated especially for Valentine’s weekend—an ideal setting for couples and music lovers alike. Each ticket includes champagne and gourmet chocolates that will help elevate this event to an unforgettable Valentine’s date.
Tickets: $35 (Single) and $60 (Couple).
Galentine’s Day Fun!
Grab your besties and kick back for a perfect Galentine’s celebration with Katie Crocco Presents… Magic Mike (The Movie) on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
Doors open at 1:00 PM for mingling and enjoy refreshments before the movie starts at 2:00 PM. Each Galentine’s ticket includes one drink ticket and food from Guelaguetza Taqueria, the perfect recipe for ridiculously fun afternoon out.
Starring Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, and an all-star cast, this revealing and entertaining film dives into the world of exotic male dancing. Directed by Oscar® winner Steven Soderbergh, Magic Mike is a bold, flirty pick—perfect for a Galentine’s outing or a cheeky Valentine’s weekend treat.

A Unique Musical Experience
On Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 4:00 pm, The Avalon Theatre welcomes Dixon’s Violin for a truly mesmerizing live concert.
Blending electric violin, live looping, and deeply moving storytelling, Dixon creates an all-live, one-man symphony that has inspired standing ovations across North America—from TED Talks to Burning Man. A former technology leader and symphony violinist, Dixon walked away from a distinguished career to follow his dream full-time, and invented a whole new music genre. Dixon now improvises on a 5-string electric violin with a looping system he developed to create an all-live one-man symphony, guided by his remarkable personal story of life transformation.This all-ages performance promises to be uplifting, immersive, and unforgettable.

Love Letters, Laughter, and Hope
Rounding out the month, Avalon Productions Presents… Dear Jack, Dear Louise, a charming and heartfelt romantic play live onstage, inspired by real letters written during World War II.
This witty and tender story follows U.S. Army Captain Jack Ludwig (Matthew Benedek), a military doctor stationed in Oregon, as he begins writing to Louise Rabiner (Lucy Hoy), an aspiring actress and dancer in New York City, hoping to meet her someday if the war allows. But as the war continues, it threatens to end their relationship before it even starts.
This romantic tale is the first offering from Avalon Productions in 2026. With performances on Friday, February 27 at 7:00pm, Saturday, February 28 at 2:00pm & 7:00pm, and Sunday, March 01 at 2:00pm
